Doyle M. Rogers

Doyle M. Rogers died Thursday, July 2, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. He was 67.
A native of Spring Hill, La., he was the son of the late Adren and Wallie Cox Rogers. He had made his home in Redwood for some 50 years.
Mr. Rogers was an avid hunter and fisherman and loving grandfather.
He retired from International Paper Company with some 33 years of service.
Mr. Rogers was a member of the First Baptist Church in Natchez.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Rogers of Vicksburg; son Kyle and wife Beth Rogers of Baton Rouge, La.; daughters Adrianne and husband Olivier Poulard of Atlanta, Ga., Babbette and husband Jeff Skipper of Vicksburg; six grandchildren, Hayden Skipper, Cameron Rogers, Kylie Rogers, Lola Rogers, Adren Poulard, Camille Poulard, closest friends Butch Cross and Thomas Sanderford.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 6, 2009, at Fisher Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brian Ivey officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Todd Huskey, Robert Geoghagan, Jerry Walsh, Trace Cross, Gary Hinson, Thomas Sanderford, Allen Hathaway and David Jefferies.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Harrell, John Elfer, Ray McLaurin, Raymond Baker, Ben Blansett and Hosie Thomas.
Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Fisher Funeral Home.
