PATTISON — Cecille Lutz died Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. She was 74.

Mrs. Lutz was a lifelong resident of the Pattison area. She was formerly employed at McRae’s Department Store, retiring in 1992 after 15 years of service. She attended Unity Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Annie Mae Loyd; and two brothers, Charles Loyd and Gerry Loyd.

Survivors include her husband, Tommy Lutz of Pattison; two sons, Marlin Lutz and Marvin “Beau” Lutz, both of Vicksburg; one daughter, Marian Spencer and husband Jake of Oxford; a brother, Vernon “Buddy” Loyd of Asheville, N.C.; a sister, Elizabeth Lang of Pattison; three grandchildren, Meredith Spencer and wife Carolyn of Port Gibson, Justin Spencer and wife Amanda of Tupelo and Bradley Spencer of Oxford; and one great-granddaughter, Madison Spencer of Port Gibson.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Unity Baptist Church with the Rev. James Case officiating. Visitation will be at the church Thursday from 10 a.m. until the service. Glenwood Funeral Home of Port Gibson has charge of arrangements.
