Travis Ray Chambless

Travis Ray Chambless died Tuesday, July 14, 2009. He was 57.

Born in Rolling Fork, he had lived in Vicksburg most of his life. Mr. Chambless was a 1969 graduate of Warren Central High School and attended Hinds Community College. He served in the Army for three years in Vietnam.

He was employed as a land surveyor and was a member of Bovina Baptist Church.

Mr. Chambless was preceded in death by his father, Ray Chambless; and a sister, Wanda Lagene Chambless.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Gene and C.F. Kelly of Vicksburg.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Terry White, pastor of Bowmar Baptist Church, officiating. Visitation will be at Riles Funeral Home Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the service.
