Lillie Mae Bailey

Lillie Mae “Mickey” Bailey died Saturday, July 18, 2009, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was 64.
Ms. Bailey was a native of Vicksburg and a 1965 graduate of Rosa A. Temple High School. She was a supervisor at Ameristar Hotel for 15 years. She was an active member of Greater Mount Zion M.B. Church and Bathsheba Grand Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Sr. and Bernice Houzah Bailey; a sister, Mary Eliza Foster; and a brother, O.C. Bailey.
Survivors include two daughters, Rene Rena Wince of Vicksburg and Riletta Wince Williams of Memphis; a son, Terrill Wince of Fort Worth; brothers, Robert (Lottie) Bailey of Eagle Lake and Johnny (Letha Mae) Bailey of Vicksburg; seven sisters, Ruby Valentine and Josephine Bailey, both of Oakland, Calif., Bernice Money of St. Albans, N.Y., Gloria Turner of Union City, Calif., and Betty Bailey, Velma Bailey and Shirley Bailey, all of Vicksburg; four grandchildren, Jermaine and Chiquita Wince of Vicksburg, Tierra Wince of Port Gibson and Jaylen Williams of Memphis; aunts, Lillie Bell Young of Lawton, Okla., and Gertrude Fitzgerald of Youngtown, Ohio; and others, including a special friend, Sallie Winters of Vicksburg, sister-in-law, Billie Jean (Brandie) Bailey of Dallas, Texas, and members of the Logan, Gray, Davenport, Houston, Hollin and Wince families of Vicksburg, the Young and Whitehead families of Greenville and the Wilson family of Oakland.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Zion Travelers M.B. Church with the Rev. Gregory Butler officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 7 p.m. Friday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with family present from 5 until 7.
