Woman robbed at gunpoint in parking lot of Pemberton

An armed robbery in the parking lot of Pemberton Square mall was reported Friday evening.

A mall employee told Vicksburg police she was approached around 7 p.m. by a man who asked for directions, pulled a gun on her and demanded money, said Sgt. Larry Holloway.

The suspect, who the victim described as a black man, fled in a gray Dodge Durango, no tag number or year model available, in an unknown direction, said Holloway.

No injuries were reported, but the victim’s purse, no value given, was taken. No arrest had been made as of Friday night.

City woman jailed in identity theft

A Vicksburg woman was in the Warren County Jail Friday night on an identity-theft charge.

Lillian Cunningham, 46, 423 Smith Place, was arrested at 11:15 a.m. Friday, jail records said.

She was being held without bond.

No other information was available.

City woman charged in theft of winnings

A Vicksburg woman was out on bond Friday night after being charged with theft of winnings.

Michelle D. Haynes, 43, 404 Locus St., Apt. 401, was arrested at 1:35 p.m. Friday and charged with felony theft of winnings, Warren County Jail records said. She was released on a $2,500 bond.
