Miss Hill, Mr. Moses to marry in Natchez

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lee Hill of Newellton, La., announce the engagement of their daughter, Samantha Jo, to Stephen William Moses. Mr. Moses is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Abraham Moses of Monroe, La.

Miss Hill is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Raymond Arnold of Ashdown, Ark., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Claude Houston Hill of Port Gibson.

Mr. Moses is the grandson of Mrs. William Hamilton Davis Jr. and the late Mr. Davis of Winnsboro, La., and the late Amy Moses Malouf and Owen A. Moses of Monroe.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Tallulah Academy and Louisiana Tech University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. She is pursuing certification with the National Board of Teachers and is a member of Sigma Kappa sorority.

Miss Hill is a fourth-grade teacher with the Caddo School District.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Neville High School and Louisiana State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing. He is a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. 

Mr. Moses is a sales representative with Alcon Laboratories.

Vows will be exchanged at 7 p.m. Sept. 5, 2009, at Monmouth Plantation in Natchez.
