Mr. Hicks, Miss Loud exchange vows July 25

John Michael Hicks and Stacy Nicole Loud were married at 4 p.m. July 25, 2009, at Greater Grove Street Baptist Church. The Rev. Casey Fisher officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sandy Loud of Vicksburg.
The groom is the son of John Hicks Sr. of Irving, Texas, and Dinah Allen of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of Eugene and Linda Jackson of Tallulah.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride’s chosen colors were orange and ivory.
A program of nuptial music was presented by C.J. Williams, pianist, and Michael Bunch and Robert Jackson, vocalists.
Maids of honor were Donmica Felix and Karnina Stevens, both of Vicksburg, and April Crawford of Jackson. Matrons of honor were Tina Woodson and Crista Turner, both of Vicksburg.
Bridesmaids were Schynell Thompson of New Orleans; Victoria Patterson of McComb; and Lakeisha Turner, Kamita Turner, Delisha Jones, Renata Felix, Danon Vaughn, Lakesha Johnson, Crystal Durrell, Deanna Kline, Qualon Martin and Lashanette Gaskin, all of Vicksburg.
Junior bridesmaids were Aniah Turner and Aaraeuna Stamps, both of Vicksburg.
Flower girls were Christianna Clay, Jada Hamberlin and Calise Henyard, all of Vicksburg.
Derrick Allen and Jaylen Hicks, both of Vicksburg, served as best men. Groomsmen were Nicholas Patterson of Tylertown; Don Hardiman of Jackson; and Meguel Henyard, Leroy Thomas, Jeff Lewis, Reggie Thomas, Andrew Patten, Michael Robinson, Calvin Hamberlin, Jason Walker, Keith Neal and Chris Hemphill, all of Vicksburg.
Junior groomsmen were Donald Joseph Woodson and Zion Johnson, both of Vicksburg.
Ushers were D’Eldrick Taylor and Gerrick Durrell, both of Vicksburg.
Ring bearer was Donovan Blue of Vicksburg.
Miniature bride was Elexie Graves of Vicksburg; miniature groom was Javian Mims of Vicksburg.
Bible carrier was Derrick Turner Jr. of Vicksburg. Christopher Clay served as bell ringer.
A reception followed at the Vicksburg City Auditorium.
Hostesses were Kathryn Blue, Rita Blue, Shannon Parson, Lillian Harris and Catina Stamps, all of Vicksburg.
For a wedding trip, the couple traveled on a Caribbean cruise to Cozumel, Mexico. They will make their home in Vicksburg.
The bride is employed at State Farm, and the groom is employed with Alcore Contracting and co-owns H&H Kennel.
Rehearsal dinner
The groom’s mother hosted a rehearsal dinner at the church on the eve of the wedding.
Bachelor party
The best men and groomsmen honored the groom with a bachelor party the night before the wedding.
Bachelorette party
The bride’s attendants honored the bride with a bachelorette party in Jackson the night before the wedding.
Showers
The bride’s honor attendants hosted a shower at the Jameson Inn.
Barbara Tolliver honored the bride with a shower at her home.
