Roy Nicholson, president of the Mississippi Tea Party, addresses 224 people at the second meeting of the Vicksburg Tea Party Wednesday night at Warren Central High School Auditorium. The other speakers for the group’s forum on health care were, from left, Dr. Phillip Ley, an orthopedic spine surgeon; Dr. Pat Barrett, an oncologist; and Russell Latino III, an attorney with Wells Marble & Hurst. Betty Stout of Vicksburg said she and others organized the group that has spoken against the proposed health care bill because they don’t like the direction the country is taking.
