Wesley Husband died Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009, at The Street Clinic in Vicksburg. He was 15.

Husband was born in Vicksburg and was of the Baptist faith. He was in the ninth grade at Warren Central High School, and was a member of the football, basketball and track teams.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lila Husband Welch.

Survivors include his father, Wesley Joe Evans of Vicksburg; brothers, Wesley Dejuan Evans and Roland Welch Jr., both of Vicksburg; sisters, Kemiya Welch and Keniya Evans, both of Vicksburg; maternal grandparents, Geneva Husband of Vicksburg and Zack Dotson of Port Gibson; paternal grandparents, Wesley Curtis Brown Sr. and Arlene Wesley Brown; and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives including Barbara Evans.
