Connelly to marry Mr. Purser Oct. 24

The engagement of Keri Dyann Connelly to Zachary Lee Purser, both of Guntown, Miss., is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 4 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009, at Porters Chapel United Methodist Church. A reception will follow at Anchuca. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Miss Connelly is the daughter of Phillip Connelly and Beverly Connelly of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of James Harper Sr. and the late Willardean Harper of Vicksburg and the late Julius and Shirley Connelly of Andrews, S.C.
Mr. Purser is the son of Hildred Purser and the late Lori Purser Ware of Hackleburg, Ala. He is the grandson of HughDon and Gaynell Lee and the late L.E. and Margie Purser of Hamilton, Ala.
The bride-elect is a 2001 honor graduate of Vicksburg High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition and a Master of Science degree in food science, nutrition and health promotion from Mississippi State University, where she was on the president’s and dean’s lists.
Miss Connelly is a registered dietitian for North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
The prospective groom is a 2003 graduate of Hamilton High School. He is a diesel mechanic for ASCO Sanitation in Pontotoc.
