Mr. Smith marries Miss Cockrell Aug. 15

Daniel Pryor Smith and Jennifer Irene Cockrell were married at 4 p.m. Aug. 15, 2009, at Woods Law Office. Judge Edwin Woods officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Joe and Dorothy Cockrell of Wayside. She is the granddaughter of Mollie Gibbs and the late Joe Warnock of Vicksburg and the late James and Jewel Cockrell of Jackson.
The groom is the son of Carl and Peggy Hollingsworth of Byram and Joe and Dianne Smith of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of Margaret Pryor and the late Tildon Pryor of Tupelo, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Falgum of Mathiston, Irene Hollingsworth and the late Neal Hollingsworth and the late Daniel Smith.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride’s chosen color was pink.
A dinner for the couple and their parents was held at Toney’s.
The couple will honeymoon at a later date.
They will make their home in Petal. The bride is employed at Women’s Pavilion of South Mississippi, and the groom is employed with AAA Ambulance Service.
