12 sentenced in Warren County Circuit Court|Court report

In Warren County Circuit Court the week ending Friday:

• Darrell Anthony Brown, 47, 2910 E. Main St., pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine and was sentenced by Circuit Judge Isadore Patrick to the Ninth Circuit Court Drug Court Program for a period not to exceed five years, plus $2,322.50 in fines and court costs. Brown was arrested July 1, 2008.

• Allen Arness Bryant, 49, 2711 Drummond St., pleaded guilty to forgery and was sentenced by Patrick to eight years, with three years to serve, plus $1,322.50 in fines. Bryant was arrested Aug. 28, 2008.

• Willie T. Clark, 64, 3609 Washington St., pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and was sentenced by Patrick to five years of probation, plus $8,461.26 in restitution and fines. Clark was arrested May 21, 2008.

• Leon Nathan Coleman, 55, 108 Foy Circle, pleaded guilty to petit larceny and was sentenced by Patrick to six months, suspended on condition of good behavior, plus $529 in fines. Coleman was arrested Sept. 23, 2006.

• George L. Davenport, 51, 601 Curry St., pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine and was sentenced by Patrick to Drug Court for a period not to exceed five years, plus $1,122.50 in fines. Davenport was arrested Jan. 15.

• Eddie Lamar Flowers, 19, 221 Henry St., pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and was sentenced by Patrick to two years in prison followed by five years of probation, plus $1,522.50 in fines. Flowers was arrested Feb. 9.

• Eddie Lee Howard, 54, 26187 Hannah Ave., pleaded guilty to felony eluding and was sentenced by Patrick to one year in prison followed by one year of house arrest supervised by the Mississippi Department of Corrections, plus $1,322.50 in fines.

• William Jefferson, 23, Riverchase Apartments, No. 401, was found guilty of violating probation and was sentenced by Patrick to Drug Court for a period not to exceed five years, plus $2,157.50 in fines. Jefferson was arrested Sept. 21, 2008.

• Lester Lamar Miller, 19, 1623 Martin Luther King Drive, was found guilty of violating probation on a charge of receiving stolen property and was sentenced by Patrick to five years in prison. Miller was arrested Aug. 7, 2008.

• James Arnez Mosley, 26, 780 U.S. 61 North, Apt. 9-5, pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine more than .1 gram but less than 2 grams and was sentenced by Patrick to a three-year suspended sentence under the supervision of the Mississippi Department of Corrections, plus $1,322.50 in fines. Mosley was arrested Nov. 21, 2008.

• Billy Earl Sanders, 45, 2571 Ring Road, pleaded guilty to robbery and was sentenced by Patrick to one year and one month in prison followed by three years of probation, plus $2,822.50 in fines. Sanders was arrested March 7, 2008.

• Percy James Smith, 47, 714 Cherry St., pleaded guilty to robbery and was sentenced by Patrick to one year in prison followed by five years of probation, plus $1,322.50 in fines. Smith was arrested July 6, 2008.
