PORT GIBSON — Winford Jones died Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009, at his home in Port Gibson. He was 58.

Mr. Jones is survived by three sisters, Dorothy Gilmore and Cora Gilmore, both of Harvey, La., and Marie Marshall of Westwego, La.; one brother, Robert L. Gilmore of Chicago; and an aunt, an uncle, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Philadelphia M.B. Church in Pattison with the Revs. Gideon Claiborne and Leroy Dee officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. Friday at Thompson Funeral Home in Port Gibson and Saturday at the church from noon until the service.
