Parks and Rec Adult Basketball

The Vicksburg Parks and Recreation Department is conducting registration for its adult basketball league through Dec. 21. Registration forms can be picked up at the Parks and Rec offices on 100 Army-Navy Drive and at the Jackson Street Gym. The league is for players ages 18 and above. Cost is $125 per team with an additional charge of $5 for each county resident for a maximum fee of $175 per team. Junior Thanksgiving Turkey Shoot

Warren Central baseball tryouts

Warren Central’s baseball team will host tryouts on Dec. 1 and Dec. 3 at Viking Field from 4 until 6 p.m. They are open to all Warren Central students in grades 8-12. Players are to bring a completed physical form and their own glove.

Kings Center 5-on-5 church league

The Kings Empowerment Center will hold 5-on-5 church basketball registration through Dec. 21, for youth divisions ages 12-14 and 15-18, and adults ages 19 and up. Entry fee is $150 per team. There will be a mandatory coaches meeting on Jan. 4 at 6 p.m. at the Kings Community Empowerment Center at 224 R.L. Chase Circle in Vicksburg.
