Ashley Nichole Williams died Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. She was 22.

Ms. Williams was a member of Locust Grove M.B. Church. She was a graduate of Vicksburg High School and attended Hinds Community College in Utica.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Robert H. Prentiss; and her paternal grandmother, Lucille Hall Williams.

Survivors include her parents, Andrew and Audrey Williams of Vicksburg; two sisters, Audriana Williams and Adrienne Williams, both of Vicksburg; maternal grandmother, Julia Mae Prentiss of Vicksburg; paternal grandfather, Harlen Williams of Edison, Ga.; other relatives and friends including the Austin, Brown, Ervin, Banks, Prentiss, Neal and Carter families of Vicksburg.
