Heard, Hofeling are married on Oct. 10

Fred Davis “Dave” Heard IV and Brandi Lee Hofeling were married at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 10, 2009, at Metropolitan Condominiums in Kansas City, Mo. Merle Bockhoff officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Brad and Margie Hofeling of Beatrice, Neb.

The groom is the son of Fred and Sue Heard of Vicksburg.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Maid of honor was Billi Hofeling, sister of the bride, of Beatrice. Bridesmaid was Hollie Cook, sister of the groom, of Vicksburg.

Groomsmen were Mike Lawry of Vicksburg and Ben Nies, cousin of the bride, of Kansas City, Mo.

Flower girl was Ashton Hofeling, niece of the bride, of Beatrice. Ring bearer was Carson Collier, nephew of the groom, of Vicksburg.

Hosts were Randy Vontz and Jay Ramirez, both of Kansas City.

A wedding dinner was held at Jess and Jim’s Steak House, followed by a reception at the Kansas City Downtown Marriott.

The couple will make their home in Shreveport.

The bride received an associate degree from Southeast Community College in Beatrice. The groom attended the University of Mississippi and is employed with Universal Ensco of Houston, Texas.
