Barbara Brewer McCaa died Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, at River Region Medical Center. She was 64.

Born and raised in Vicksburg, Mrs. McCaa lived a number of years in Alabama, Louisiana and Tennessee before returning to Vicksburg. She was a 1963 graduate of Culkin Academy and a member of First Methodist Protestant Church.

She is survived by one son, Frank McCaa III of York, Pa.; one daughter, Jennifer Danczyk of Vicksburg; four brothers, Lawrence Chambliss of Brandon and Earl Brewer, Curtis Brewer and Gerald Brewer, all of Vicksburg; two sisters, Donna Moulder of Vicksburg and Lee Earl Chambliss of Brandon; and six grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Green Acres Memorial Park with the Rev. LaDon Dawson officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 p.m. Wednesday until the service.

Pallbearers will be Matt Brewer, Mike Chambliss, Danny Chambliss, J.R. Williams, Carlos Dawson, Frank Dawson, Bradley Barnes and Andrew Prudhomme.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
