The Warren Central Lady Vikes will not be in the playoffs, but they did finish the regular season on a high note.

Dana Warnock scored three goals and assisted on another, Lindsey Barfield and Mackenzie Page each tallied one, and WC beat Greenville-Weston 5-0 in the season finale. Kayla Kelly also had an assist for Warren Central, which ends the season with a 7-8-3 record.

WC’s boys’ team will be in the playoffs, and also finished the regular season strong. Eric Chappell had a hat trick to lead the Vikings to a 7-0 rout of Greenville.

Tre Wilson, Chandler Bounds and Matt Waddle all had goals for WC (14-5), which opens the playoffs at home on Tuesday against the Division 1-6A runner-up.
