PINEVILLE, La. — Grace Lelia Trigg Kerr, 87, of Pineville, La., passed away Feb. 4, 2010, in Rapides General Hospital.

Services for Mrs. Kerr will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Bordelon officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Ball, La.

Friends may visit from 9 a.m. until service time at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Kerr was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Kerr Jr.

Grace was a ladies’ professional barrel racer, rodeo and horse show performer and member of many equestrian associations. She raised and trained horses on her ranch including a world champion, Karmar’s Watusi, in pole bending.

Survivors include sons, Robert Engler (Patsy), Bruce Kerr, Gregory Kerr; daughter, Diane Kerr Bass; grandchildren, Rip Engler (Stephanie), Jimi Engler Bonnette (Ronnie), Kim Kerr Orillion, Brandi Bass, Jodie Bass Mathews, Bruce Alexander Kerr, Bradley Kerr, Nicholas Kerr; great-grandchildren, Serena, Ansel, Gabrielle Bonnette, Eden and Arlo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
