11 auto burglaries reported in county

Eleven auto burglaries were reported in Warren County south of Vicksburg today, Sheriff Martin Pace said.
Small electronics and two weapons were missing from vehicles on Fisher Ferry Road and South Glen and Amanda drives, he said.
Deputies were continuing their investigations late this morning, he said.
Hinds theft suspect jailed in 2009 burglary
A Vicksburg man arrested and freed on bond earlier this week after being accused of breaking into a Hinds Community College classroom and stealing computers and other electronics was back in the Warren County Jail this morning, charged in a 2009 house burglary, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said.
Fingerprints from a 2009 home burglary were used to identify Reginald D. Davis, 22, 1908 Walnut St., as a suspect in a March 2009 residential burglary in the 100 block of North Drive, Pace said.
Arrested with Davis was Dennis Matthew Johnson, 21, 3062 Woodvine Road, Lorman. He was charged with grand larceny, business burglary, auto burglary and possession of burglary tools.
Davis was charged with business burglary. He was being held today pending his initial appearance in court.
City police report three burglaries
Fishing gear and a computer were among items reported missing in the city Thursday, Vicksburg police Sgt. Sandra Williams said.
At 5:58 p.m., a purse was reported stolen from an unlocked 2004 Mercury Sable in the 2700 block of Green Street.
Reported missing from a shed in the 70 block of Lakewood Drive at 3:20 p.m. were 16 rods and reels valued at about $1,360 total.
A Hewlett-Packard computer valued at $630 was reported stolen from a home in the 100 block of Elizabeth Circle at 11:46 a.m.
Food, electronics missing in county
In Warren County, electronics and food were reported missing in three residential burglaries, records showed.
A 42-inch flat-screen Vizio TV valued at $1,000 and a Dynex 19-inch flat-screen TV valued at $500 were reported stolen from the 300 block of Lake Forest Drive at 12:23 p.m.
A Hewlett-Packard notebook computer valued at about $1,080 was reported stolen from the 100 block of Covington Quarters at 3:22 p.m.
An air-compressor valued at $250, a battery charger valued at $75 and assorted frozen foods valued at $40 total were reported missing from the 4100 block of Dogwood Lane at 7:58 p.m.
City woman jailed for order violation
A Vicksburg woman was in the Warren County Jail for drug court violation, records showed.
Jalila Barnes, 18, 1512 Spring St., was being held without bond.
