NATCHEZ — Vicksburg defeated Natchez on Tuesday 4-3 in the season opener. Winners for Vicksburg (1-0) were Don Brown in boys singles 6-1, 6-0; the boys’ doubles team of Fritz Valenio and Perry Tolliver won 6-4, 6-2; the girls’ doubles team of Charlene Figureoa and Amanda Guizerix won 6-2, 6-1 and the No. 2 boys’ doubles team of Caleb White and Bryton Hixson won 6-0, 6-4.
