A Vicksburg teen was arrested this morning for a shooting Saturday evening near City Park Pavilion on Lee Street.

Oscar Anderson, 17, 2705 Drummond St., was arrested at 8:51 at his home and charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle and five counts of attempted aggravated assault, Sgt. Sandra Williams said.

Williams said Anderson is accused of “firing several shots at a vehicle” around 11:30 at Lee and Washington streets. She said the people in the car, one adult and four children ages 11 to 16, were driving away on Lee after attending a party at City Park Pavilion when Anderson fired shots from the sidewalk near the public gathering spot.
