Miss Andrews to wed Mr. Benson in Mexico

James and Darlyn Andrews of Dunkirk, N.Y., announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Kay of Troy, Ala., to Scott Matthew Benson, also of Troy. Mr. Benson is the son of Howard and Mary Benson of Vicksburg.
Miss Andrews is the granddaughter of Irene Krzyzanowizc of Dunkirk and the late Richard Krzyzanowizc and the late Andrew and Jean Andrews.
Mr. Benson is the grandson of the late Ira and Frances Oliver and the late Bennett and Rosemary Benson.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Dunkirk High School. She received a Doctor of Philosophy degree in human performance from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Miss Andrews is department chair and associate professor of athletic training at Troy University.
The prospective groom is a 1996 graduate of Vicksburg High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Troy University.
Mr. Benson is a security supervisor at Lockheed Martin.
The wedding will be at 5 p.m. July 10, 2010, at Ocean Coral and Turquesa in Puerto Morelos, Mexico. A reception will follow.
