Mr. and Mrs. David Russell “Rusty” Berry of Raymond announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Amanda Leigh of Raymond, to Dale Hearn. Mr. Hearn is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Hearn Sr. of Vicksburg.

Miss Berry is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Jack Gray of Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. David Berry of Laurel and the late Jean Berry of Crystal Springs. Mr. Hearn is the grandson of Patricia Ann Wyatt of Rolling Fork, the late Fredrick Dale Rupp of Montpelier, Ohio, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Hearn of Vicksburg.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Central Hinds Academy and the University of Southern Mississippi, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in coaching.

Miss Berry is a teacher and coach at Central Hinds Academy.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Warren Central High School and Mississippi State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in forest products.

Mr. Hearn is employed with C.T.S.I. of Vicksburg.

The wedding will be at 6 p.m. June 19, 2010, at First Baptist Church of Raymond. A reception will follow in the Christian Life Center. All family and friends are invited to attend. to marry in Raymond
