PORT GIBSON — Juanita Watson died Friday, July 2, 2010, at her home in Port Gibson. She was 70.

Mrs. Watson was a member of Springhill M.B. Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Margaret Rogers-Barland, and a granddaughter, Jennifer Renee Beaube.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Watson of Port Gibson; three daughters, Brenda Mitchell of Georgetown, Cynthia Channels of Port Gibson and Mary Bagely of Bessemer, Ala.; a stepdaughter, Tameka Graise of Port Gibson; a sister, Katie Murrell Howard of Port Gibson; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends including Ruby Patterson of Port Gibson.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Springhill M.B. Church with the Rev. Joseph Brown officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 5 p.m. Monday at Thompson Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until the service at the church.
