Rose Marie Mahalitc

ROLLING FORK — Rose Marie Mahalitc died Sunday, July 25, 2010, at University Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was 77.

Mrs. Mahalitc was born in Texas and had been a resident of Issaquena County for 49 years. She was a member of Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Anguilla.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Mahalitc; a granddaughter, Taylor Grace Mahalitc; and two brothers, Raymond Hubenak and Willie Hubenak.

Survivors include four sons, Albert Mahalitc of Greenville, George Mahalitc of Rolling Fork, Russell Mahalitc of Glen Allan and Edward Mahalitc of Vicksburg; a daughter, Linda Burke of Glen Allan; a brother, Marvin Hubenak of Ganado, Texas; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church with the Rev. Charles Bucciantini, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Cemetery in Rolling Fork. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork. A rosary will be said at 7 tonight at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Albert Mahalitc, George Mahalitc, Russel Mahalitc and Edward Mahalitc.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Mahalitc, Allen Burke, Rodney Mahalitc, Chase Mahalitc, Gwen Taylor and Harvey Williams.
