RAWLINGS, Md. — Tina Joy Stewart, 46, of Rawlings, Md., passed away on Friday, Aug. 6, 2010 at her home.

Born Oct. 1, 1963, in Vicksburg, she was the daughter of Franklin and Carolyn Harris Hicks. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Bernice Purvis, and grandfathers, Coy Hicks and Learn J. Nelson.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her stepmother, Trudy Hicks, Vicksburg; grandmother, Elma Hicks, Vicksburg; son, Brandon Chrisler Stewart, Cumberland; brother, Chandler Eugene Hicks and wife Joan, Winchester, Va.; sister, Angelia Sue Hartman and significant other, Charles Ratcliff, Rawlings; stepbrother, Jeff Mayfield, New York; aunts, Susan Franklin, Rawlings, Louise Vickers, Little Rock, Ark., and Clariece Messier, Dewitt, Ark.; uncles, Paul Harris, Leesburg, Miss., and Johnny Hicks, Vicksburg; nieces and nephews, Tyler Hicks, Chase Phares, Amber Joy and Devin Ratcliff; and many other family members and a large circle of friends.

She will be greatly missed and remembered by everyone who knew her.

A memorial service will be conducted at Scarpelli Funeral Home P.A., Cresaptown, (www.scarpellifuneralhomes.com) at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Paul Dietz officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service.
