FAYETTE — Lauretta Humes died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was 58.

Mrs. Humes was born in Adams County to Etta King and Jessie Nichols Sr. She was a housekeeper and a member of Jessamine Ridge Baptist Church in Lorman.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Felex Nichols; and a sister, Earline Nichols.

She is survived by a number of relatives and friends.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Jessamine Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Tracy Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Jessamine Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be today at Rollins Funeral Home in Fayette.
