RAYMOND — Hinds Community College will try to bounce back from its first defeat when it celebrates homecoming tonight against winless Mississippi Delta.
Hinds was knocked out of the NJCAA’s Top 20 after falling to Copiah-Lincoln 30-17 in Raymond last week. The Eagles (2-1) will try to move forward against Mississippi Delta (0-3), but preparation will be a key.
“We came out flat against Co-Lin,” said Hinds receiver Les Lemons, a former Vicksburg High star. “It’s all about mental preparation. It starts with how we practice the week going into the game. We have to step it up in practice.”
