Alvin Dwayne Tilley died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010 at University Medical Center in Jackson as the result of a motor vehicle accident. He was 21.

Mr. Tilley was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg. He was employed by Environment Masters of Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Edna Howell; and paternal grandparents, Charles Graham Tilley Sr. and Dorothy Tilley.

Survivors include a son, Brayden Baker of Vicksburg; his girlfriend, Ashley Baker of Vicksburg; his father, Charles Graham Tilley Jr. of Vicksburg; his mother Marlys B. Cade of Vicksburg; his stepfather, Robert Cade of Vicksburg; two brothers, Brandon Tilley of Vicksburg and Chris Tilley of Port Gibson; and maternal grandfather, Bobby Barnes of Arkansas.

Services will be at 11 a.m. at Saturday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Marvin Curtis officiating. Burial will follow at Wintergreen Cemetery in Port Gibson. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Chris Tilley, Jessie McAdams, Doug Welch, Ty Trent, Darrell Thompson and Jamie Moore.
