• Advised officials with Faith Christian Center to complete a traffic study in an effort to build an entrance to about 25 acres property it plans to develop on Fisher Ferry Road.

• Plans call for a new facility on land between The Trace subdivision and St. Michael Catholic Church, near the site of softball fields the city has planned for nearly a decade. • Heard a report from County Administrator John Smith that signs for a planned boat launch at Old Twin Lake Road in north Warren County are available from the state but are in need of a name.

• Concrete has been laid and large stones placed at the 2.3-acres on the Yazoo River, just west of the new river bridge completed last year. The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks is paying 75 percent of construction costs of the launch the county’s Road Department will maintain, as part of a 20-year agreement inked last October.
