A Vicksburg Post photographer has been recognized nationally for his part in a series of photos following the devastating earthquake that hit Haiti this year.

David Jackson and fellow University of Southern Mississippi student Eli Baylis completed the slide show of about a dozen photos while seniors at the Hattiesburg school. The project wasn’t school-related, though.
