Lady Flashes crush MSD, 55-10

For the first time since 2007, the St. Aloysius girls are at the .500 mark after at least six games. The Lady Flashes (3-3, 1-0) opened Division 7-1A play with a 45-point blowout of MSD. The 2007 club, led by Sarah Kerut, went 21-9. The St. Al girls will face North Panola, Water Valley and Charleston over the next three days in the Water Valley Holiday Tournament,
“What’s really helped our girls has been to practice against our JV boys,” Hodges said. “That provides them competition every day.”
Six of the seven Lady Flashes dressed scored. Sara Howington led the way with 14 points and four rebounds. Ann Thomas had 12 points and 10 rebounds while Alexa Engel had 12 points and three rebounds. Point guard Ashtin Giambrone had six points and five assists.
