Alice Elizabeth Booth

CLINTON — Alice Elizabeth Booth was born Dec. 24, 1951, and died Monday, Dec. 6, 2010, at Hospice Ministries in Jackson. She was 58.
Ms. Booth was a 1969 graduate of St. Aloysius High School and attended the University of Mississippi and the University of Southern Mississippi. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper at Rainbow Signs in Jackson.
She is survived by one daughter, Amanda Leigh Pegram of Hattiesburg; one son, Jason Lee Pegram of New Orleans; and one grandson, Talon Connor Ross Johnson; two sisters, Mary Patricia Booth Fulton of Vicksburg and Margaret Mary Booth of Newport, Ark.; seven brothers, William Edward Booth and Paul Hyland Booth, both of Madison, Joseph Malcolm Booth of Germantown, Tenn., George Robert Booth of Niceville, Fla., James Michael Booth of Clinton, Jerome Polk Booth and John Gerard Booth, both of Vicksburg; and a number of nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Edward Booth and Elizabeth Polk Booth; and one brother, John Christopher Booth.
Private graveside services will be Thursday at Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Patrick Farrell officiating.
