Jean T. Mullen

JACKSON — Jean T. Mullen died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010, at St. Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson.  She was 57. 

Born in Biloxi, Mrs. Mullen was the daughter of the late Robert Leon Tingle Sr. and Eleanor Jean Tompkins Tingle. She was a former resident of Vicksburg and had been a resident of Clinton for the past 15 years.  Mrs. Mullen was a member of Morrison Heights Baptist Church in Clinton.

Survivors include her husband, Bill K. Mullen of Clinton; her daughter, Ashley Williams (Brad Anderson) of Pearl; her grandson, Brandon Cole Williams of Brandon; three sisters, Gail Moore, Bettye Redditt and Debra Katzenmeyer, all of Vicksburg; two brothers, Robert Leon Tingle Jr. of Wilmington, N.C., and Christopher Jody Tingle of Astoria, Ore.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be Monday, at 11 a.m. at Riles Funeral Home in Vicksburg with Dr. Greg Belser, pastor of Morrison Heights Baptist Church, officiating.  Burial will be at 3 p.m. at Fair River Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven with the Rev. David Fortenberry officiating. Graveside services will be under the direction of Brookhaven Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children, 2500 N. State St., Jackson, MS 39216.
