BATON ROUGE — Services for Birdie Clara Spencer will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Heroden Baptist Church with the Rev. Louis Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be today from noon until 6 at Williams Funeral Service and Saturday at the church from noon until the service.

Mrs. Spencer died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, in Baton Rouge. She was 89.

She was born in St. Joseph and was a licensed hairstylist and cosmetologist. She owned and operated Birdie’s Beauty Shoppe for more than 65 years.
