A Warren County woman driving the wrong way on Interstate 20 this morning was taken to River Region Medical Center after she backed her car into a truck.

Jenilyn Hall, 79, 5543 Gibson Road, was eastbound in the westbound lane of I-20 near Halls Ferry Road at 8:08 a.m. when she backed her 1993 Buick Century into a dump truck as she attempted to turn around, Vicksburg Police Patrolman Bobby Jones said.

Truck driver James Thompson Jr., 59, 602 Elton Drive, and passenger Andrew Clark, 40, 1609 Court St. Apt B, were not injured. Traffic backed up about a quarter-mile past the Halls Ferry exit as the wreck was cleaned up.

Hall’s condition was undetermined at midmorning, a hospital spokesman said.
