BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — LSU athletic director Joe Alleva says Les Miles is remaining as the Tigers’ coach.
Miles met with officials from Michigan on Monday evening about the Wolverines head coaching job and Alleva says Miles notified him this morning that he’s staying in Baton Rouge.
Miles has a 62-17 record, five bowl victories and one national title with the Tigers in the previous six seasons.
Rich Rodriguez last week was fired as Michigan coach with a 15-22 mark in three seasons.
