Mary Dorothy Ritchey

PORT GIBSON — Mary Dorothy Ritchey died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011, at her home in Port Gibson. She was 93.
A native of Pine Bluff, Ark., Mrs. Ritchey had lived in Port Gibson since 1939. With her husband, she owned and operated R.L. Ritchey Mechanical and Electrical, retiring in 1980. She was a member of Stepping Stone Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Robert L. Ritchey of Port Gibson; one son, Robert L. Ritchey Jr. of Greenwood; two daughters, Dorothy R. Byrd of Greenville and Lynda Hodge of Palmetto, Fla.; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Port Gibson with the Revs. Anthony Prestage and Keith Garland officiating. Burial will follow at Wintergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday from 9 a.m. until the service.
Pallbearers will be Robert Ritchey III, Stephen Ritchey, Burnice Trevilion, John Selden, Spenser Ritchey and Jerry Morgan.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Gage, Ken McLemore, Dr. David Headley and Duane Moore.
