Flora Spates Reeves died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, at Covenant Health & Rehab of Vicksburg. She was 94.

Mrs. Reeves was a homemaker and a member and mother at Zion Travelers M.B. Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Reeves; her parents, Tommy and Rose Bishop Spates; two daughters, Mattie Foster Emerson and Julia Foster Harrison; four brothers, Willie Spates, Tommy Spates Jr., Harry Spates and Harrison Spates; and three sisters Martha Spates, Marie Spates Sims and Mary Daniel Spates.

She is survived by a daughter, Bertha Small of Edwards; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
