Robert Lee Shepherd Sr. and Arzella “Shirlean” Nix, both of Vicksburg, were married at 9 a.m. Sept. 6, 2010, at the home of their daughter, Margie Ann Nix. The Rev. Roosevelt Mitchell officiated at the ceremony.

The bride was given in marriage by their son, Dennis Lee Shepherd. Her chosen colors featured red, silver, white and black.

A reception was Sept. 19, 2010, at Loving’s Place.

The couple will make their home in Vicksburg. The bride is employed with the Vicksburg Warren School District, and the groom is employed with the City of Vicksburg.
