Catherine Ann Johnson died Friday, March 11, 2011, at River Region Medical Center. She was 55.

Ms. Johnson was a native of Carthage and had lived in Vicksburg since 1965. She was a graduate of Warren Central High School and Mississippi State College for Women. She was a retired teacher having taught in the Vicksburg and Warren County schools for many years. She was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include her mother, Mary W. Johnson of Vicksburg; and a sister, Marilyn Johnson of Vicksburg.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Glenwood Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m. until the service.
