Gun, iPad, radio missing from vehicles

Three auto burglaries were reported in the city during the weekend, police Lt. Bobby Stewart said today.

At 2:41 a.m. Saturday, an SPL radio valued at $200 was reported stolen from a 1999 Cadillac DeVille left at Clark gas station at Cherry and Clay streets.

At 7:54 a.m. Saturday, a Glock .40-caliber handgun valued at $625, an Acer laptop computer valued at $750 and an Apple iPad valued at $1,000 were reported stolen from an unlocked 2008 Dodge pickup parked at Rebel Welding, 180 U.S. 80.

At 4:33 p.m. Sunday, a Pioneer CD-radio valued at $200 was reported stolen from an unlocked 1998 Dodge Neon parked at the Confederate Ridge Apartments in the 700 block of U.S. 61 North.
