We must join together

We find segregation is offensive today. That is due in no small part to the leadership, teachings and influence of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
His strong voice shook us out of our complacency. His nonviolent actions forced us to look at the ugliness of everyday racism. His powerful movement united the nation, and in time forced many institutions of segregation to crumble.
The struggle hasn’t ended. We must not separate our community. No matter the color of our skin, we must join together all families in Jesus’ name.
AMEN
