Nancy and Jerry Bell of Vicksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Marie, to Gregory Michael Bennett of Southaven. Mr. Bennett is the son of Laverne and Stephen Roberts of Whittier, N.C., and the late Philip Bennett.

Miss Bell is the granddaughter of the late Margaret and William Boothby of Monmouth, Ill., and the late Delma and Horace Bell of Danville, Iowa.

Mr. Bennett is the grandson of Laverne and William Bennett of Franklin, N.C., and June Carter and the late Judson Carter of Alexandria, Va.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Houston High School in Germantown, Tenn. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Mississippi State University and a Master of Education degree from Union University.

Miss Bell is a special education teacher for the Shelby County School District of Memphis, Tenn.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Swain High School in Bryson City, N.C. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte.

Mr. Bennett is a pilot with Mesaba Airlines-Delta Connection Carrier based in Memphis.

Vows will be exchanged at 2:30 p.m. June 18, 2011, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Southaven. A reception will follow at First Choice Catering Banquet Hall in Horn Lake. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.
