New campaign for downtown unveiled

Simply. Uniquely. Southern. Those three words make up the tag line proposed Tuesday night by a South Carolina branding agency to describe downtown Vicksburg.

“What that does is it sets up this stage for us to talk about your downtown,” Ben Muldrow of Greenville-based Arnett Muldrow & Associates told about 40 people Tuesday on the second and final night of a marketing and branding research campaign for the Vicksburg Main Street Program. “You can take that tag line, which is very clean and simple, and start to build additional meaning into it.”
