Six Vicksburg Warren School District bus routes have been canceled due to flooded roads, Superintendent Dr. Elizabeth Duran Swinford said Friday.

The routes, to cease service beginning Monday, affect fewer than a dozen students, the superintendent said. Four routes to the Kings and Eagle Lake communities in the northern part of the county and two to Glass Road, in the south, were canceled.

The last day of school is May 25. Redwood Elementary students were moved to Sherman Avenue Elementary about a week ago due to flooding around the school.
