Shirley Faye Humphries Woodham died Saturday, June 18, 2011, at River Region Medcial Center. She was 58.

Ms. Woodham was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg. She was retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was the owner and operator of Woodham’s Tax Service. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Humphries; her parents, Mary and Gale Ainsworth; and a sister, Edna Allen Harris.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Humphries of Brandon and Daniel W. Humphries of Vicksburg; two brothers, Robert Ainsworth of Tallulah and Donald Ainsworth of Vicksburg; three sisters, Daisy Griffin, Ethel Hollowell and Gay Weaver, all of Vicksburg; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Clements officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation is tonight form 5 until 8 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Giffin, Tony Ainsworth, Thomas Hollowell, Russell Hollowell, Cecil Hollowell, Rodney Allen, Archie Kirkley and Darrell Kirkley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Drs. Lee Giffin and Gene Farris.
