EDWARDS — Timothy “Tim” Hubbard died Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at his home. He was 50.

Mr. Hubbard was born in Vicksburg and lived all his life in Edwards. He was employed for 27 years at U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, most recently as an IT specialist with the ACE-IT Organization. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, John J. Hubbard Jr.; and his stepfather, H.F. “Frank” Ditto Sr.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa C. Hubbard of Vicksburg; one son, Timothy Lane Hubbard of Edwards; his mother, Peggy Hubbard Ditto of Edwards; three brothers, John J. Hubbard III of Alabama, Peter S. Hubbard and wife Brenda of Raymond and Patrick O. Hubbard and wife Vanesa of Madison; a sister, Jackie H. Allen and husband Andy of Brandon; stepbrothers, Henry F. Ditto Jr., Clifford A. Ditto, Michael P. Ditto and Scott P. Ditto; an aunt, Roma Hubbard Askew of Edwards; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Edwards Cemetery with Monsignor Patrick Farrell officiating. Visitation will be at Glenwood Funeral Home tonight from 5 until 7 and Thursday from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30.

Pallbearers will be Bill Montgomery, Jeff Montgomery, Dan Askew, Brian McHann, Ed Pace, Kirk Simmons, Mike Jennings and Hal Moncrief.
