Traffic officer Shantel Carter of the Vicksburg Police Department said Robert Arledge Jr., 17, 306 Fairways Drive, was driving his 2005 Nissan Frontier onto the interstate from Halls Ferry Road when he swerved to miss a car and lost control, crashing into a 2011 GMC Sierra driven by Jason Grimes, 43, 75 Grimes Lane, Talladega, Ala. Robert was treated and released from River Region Medical Center, hospital spokesman Allen Karel said, and Grimes was not injured.
